Users may also cancel their account at any time they wish. Why can't MyspaceTrackerz show me who is viewing my profile 100% of the time ?
Several trackers in the past have had the ability to identify visitors on a nearly 100% basis, however trackers like that do not last very long on the internet, let me explain why. Trackers that engage in this sort of activity, generally use an exploit, or "hack" that MySpace ® is not yet aware of, to steal YOUR PERSONAL browser cookies which contain all of your personal MySpace ® information. Not only is this illegal, it is shut down by MySpace ® within days or weeks of the tracker code being released. MyspaceTrackerz is very efficient and accurate for tracking visitors, but we will not engage in shady and/or illegal activities to get our tracking results. Trackers that do those type of things never last. We'd rather stick around for awhile and let you enjoy our service legitamitely, and legally. Just because we dont use underhanded methods, does not mean we cannot provide you with a good tracking service.

Does someone have to be a member of MyspaceTrackerz to show up in my visits ?
The answer is NO. I get flooded with emails from people who think that the tracker only works with other members of MyspaceTrackerz. Let me clear this up. The tracker logs all visits to your profile, regardless if they are a member of MyspaceTrackerz or not. The only limitation of that person not being a member of MyspaceTrackerz is that an automatic identification cannot be made by the system if no members of MyspaceTrackerz have already identified the person, HOWEVER you can manually identify that person from within your account, and their visits will now be shown as the person you identified them as. I hope this clears up the question for alot of you!

Will MyspaceTrackerz still track all viewers of my profile even if the profile is set to Private on MySpace ® ? ?
Yes, the MyspaceTrackerz tracking code will track all viewers of your profile, even if your profile is set to private, no other tracker currently does this. Now you can maintain your privacy on MySpace ® and still track everyone who is looking at your profile!

I just signed up for my MyspaceTrackerz account, but the tracker isnt working ?

Once you have Signed Up for your free account, click Get MySpace ® Code link, and follow the instructions from there. You can test if your MyspaceTrackerz account is working by visiting your own profile, then logging into your account, and clicking the Check Visits link.

Visitors are coming up as "Unknown" on my results, how do I identify the visitor ?

If a visitor is showing up as "Unknown", the visitor is either not a member of MyspaceTrackerz, or no members of MyspaceTrackerz have identified this person. MyspaceTrackerz tells you if a person came from your friends list, your myspace URL , and other locations, this can be very useful in being able to tell who an unknown visitor is. If you think you know who the person is, for example, you recieved a comment at almost exactly the same time as the time of the visit, or MyspaceTrackerz says they came from your friends list, simply click the "Identify" link underneath the "Unknown" picture, and enter the visitor's FRIEND ID, and the system will permanently track and identify this person. Don't know how to get the FRIEND ID ? See the next question.

I know how to identify an unknown visitor, but how do I get their FRIEND ID ?

Follow the following steps to get a persons FRIEND ID:

1) LOGIN to your MySpace ® account FIRST. Go to the persons MySpace ® profile (Below is just an example URL, the URL will be something like http://myspace.com/person , or you can just go to the person's profile through your myspace account):


2) Click on the person's "View my: Pics" link as shown below:


3) Highlight and copy the FRIEND ID out of the browser address bar as shown below:

4) Locate the unknown visitor in your MyspaceTrackerz account, click IDENTIFY, and paste the FRIEND ID into the box as shown below, then click the Identify! button:
